Kim Kardashian Engaged To Kris Humphries, Big Diamond Involved

For quite some time it looked like reality TV star and fashionista Kim Kardashian was never going to settle down, however it was revealed today that she is now engaged to Kris Humphries.

Kardashian has been dating the professional basketball player for six months and says he proposed to her by placing the words “Will you marry me?” in rose petals in her bedroom while he waited on bended knee.

Kim revealed to People Magazine that the proposal happened on May 18 while adding:

“I didn’t expect this at all,” and “I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”

Kris presented Kim with a custom designed 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring and then threw a party for her entire family that night which Kim’s mom helped plan.

While Kris had planned on a “small gathering” in true Kardashian fashion it blew out of proportion with two mini-horses showing up covered in glitter and more than the expected number of guests partaking in the celebration.

Kim who turned 30 last year has said on various occasions that she planned on having children by that age.
