Abigail Breslin Dresses Beyond Her Years At ‘August: Osage County’ Premiere

Abigail Breslin dressed way beyond her years at the premiere for her new film, August: Osage County.

Breslin first came to the attention of audiences back in 2006 when she played Olive Hoover in the critically acclaimed Little Miss Sunshine at the paltry age of 9 years-old.

Her performance in Jonathan Dayton and Valier Faris’ unique road-trip movie saw her nominated for an Academy Award, and she has since gone on to appear in No Reservations, My Sister’s Keeper, and Rango.

Arriving at the event celebrating the launch of John Wells’ film, which is produced by George Clooney and Grant Heslov from Tracy Letts screenplay, Breslin attempted to match her more experienced co-stars.

In the film, Breslin was also able to hone her acting craft alongside an abundance of prestigious thespians including Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Ewan McGregor, Chris Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch, Juliette Lewis, Delmot Mulroney, and Sam Shepard.

Breslin wore a long-sleeved dress, which was complimented by stripes “with a sheer tan fabric and gunmetal pleather-like material.” US Weekly also added,” Little Miss Sunshine didn’t appear to be wearing a bra either as she paired the look with tan heels, a silver Kotur clutch, and a long, blonde braid.”

The young actress is now growing up before the world’s eyes. Over the last few weeks, she has been romantically linked to Jack Barakat, who is former Playgirl Holly Madison’s ex-beau.

The 25-year-old singer for the All Time Low and Breslin are now in the throes of dating. However, probably because of their age difference, they have attempted to keep their relationship a secret. It’s believed that they first met during one of his concerts back in May, and he also joined her at the Ender’s Game premiere.

Last month, Breslin was controversially shot in the nude by photographer, Tyler Shields. Shields described the images by noting, “I wanted to do something iconic with her, something simple but timeless. She’s the perfect subject for something like this. Incredibly talented, beautiful actress but no one has ever seen her like this. There’s fun in that—showing someone to the world for the first time.”

August: Osage County will be released on Christmas Day, and film critics have already predicted that it will be a contender throughout the upcoming awards season.
