Portia De Rossi To Divorce Ellen DeGeneres Over Pamela Anderson Crush?
Portia de Rossi and her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres may be on the rocks, according to a number of unconfirmed rumors which have surfaced in the press recently.
The most recent rumors came from a major tabloid publication. The paper claims that the current relationship issues are over an alleged crush Ellen has on none other than Pamela Anderson.
The publication, called Star, says they spoke with a source who informed them that Ellen not only has a crush on Pamela but is more or less obsessed with her. Apparently “falling in love with her beauty.”
The source said: “[Pam Anderson] is all Ellen talks about these days. It’s become a real issue for Portia.”
The publication further claimed that Portia de Rossi needs to watch out since Pamela Anderson cut her hair short like Ellen’s: “As the old theory goes, when two people spend way too much time together, they start to look alike.”
The Star previously claimed that Ellen’s “control freak” behavior was to blame for the couple’s woes:
“Ellen’s a jealous control freak, and it’s taking a toll on Portia. Portia loves her to death, but she feels like she’s trapped in Ellen’s world and she can’t get out. She’s had it with Ellen’s jealousy and insecurities! There’s even been talk of a separation, but for now, they’re trying to work things out in therapy,” their source said.
It could, on the other hand, all have to do with Portia de Rossi’s recent quote on The Conversation with Amanda De Cadenet where she said:
“I just didn’t want to be a lesbian. I’d never met one for a start and I just thought they were strange and that they hated men and they were very serious and I had these ridiculous images in my head and there were no out celebrities or politicians or anybody that I could look to and go, ‘Oh, I could be like that.'”
