A new FCC filing is suggesting that the Motorola Xoom with it’s Android Honeycomb OS and Dual-Core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor is heading at some point to AT&T Wireless.
Documents are fairly vague for the product which has been passed onto the FCC, however it does describe what appears to be the Xoom with GSM capabilities and support for the WCDMA standard on 850Mhz and 1900Mhz bands (the same bands used by AT&T in North America).
In other news, the expected Sprint Wireless version with 4G WiMAX is rumored to be halted, although Sprint has not confirmed that fact and they are still expected to feature at least a WiFi only version.
At this time no release dates have been given for either the Sprint or AT&T Wireless versions.[via WirelessGoodness]
