‘Man Of Steel ‘: Possible Names For ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ Revealed?
Ever since Zack Snyder announced the Man Of Steel sequel would include Batman, the sequel has come to be known as Batman vs. Superman.
Recent domain names registration indicate that Warner Bros. may be getting ready to finally name the Man Of Steel sequel.
The website Fusible.com made the discovery the studio had registered a handful of names which include:
– Man of Steel Battle the Knight
– Man of Steel Beyond Darkness
– Man of Steel Black of Knight
– Man of Steel Darkness Falls
– Man of Steel Knight Falls
– Man of Steel Shadow of the Night
– Man of Steel The Blackest Hour
– Man of Steel The Darkness Within
Fusible says there is also variation of the possible names listed, such as:
– Battle the Knight
– Black of Knight
– Knight Falls
– The Blackest Hour
According to the report the domain name registrations were done through the internet brand protection company MarkMonitor.
Warner Bros. uses the company for its Warnerbros.com (WHOIS) and the registrar for the SupermanvsBatman.com domain (WHOIS).
None of the domain names listed on Fusible leads to a web page and this is only speculation at this time, but as production draws near it would seem logical to think the studio is trying to come up with a definitive name.
The much anticipated sequel to Man Of Steel, which stars Henry Cavill returning as Superman and the controversial Ben Affleck as the new Batman, is slated for a July 17, 2015 opening day.
So far there is no plot to speak of for the sequel, however, Warner Bros. producer Daniel Alter tweeted recently that we will see a completely new version of Batman.
Alter described the dark crusader as a semi-retired Bruce Wayne who would be controlling robots from his batcave, to fight crimes in the city.
At a recent fan Q&A, director Zack Snyder hinted that Lex Luthor could be the main villain in the film.
Rumor has it that Wonder Woman and Nightwing could make an appearance as well, however, this is all conjecture as a synopsis has not been provided.
