Rapper Nate Dogg dies of stroke
41-year-old Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, better known to fans as Rapper Nate Dogg, has died of a stroke in Long Beach.
The rapper was known for his work alongside high school friend Snoop Dogg, as well as for collaborations with Tupac Shakur, Warren G, Eminem and Ludacris. Snoop, who along with Warren G formed a rap group called 213 with Nate Dogg 20 years ago, tweeted a series of messages regarding his friend’s death late last night. [Reverse chronological order.]
