Apple will officially begin taking pre-orders for the Apple iPad 2 at 1AM Pacific time on Friday.
Not willing to log on at 1AM? iPad 2 pre-orders will also start taking place at 5PM (local times) through various retail chains including AT&T, Apple, Best Buy, Target, Verizon, Walmart and several other smaller resellers.
Customers willing to head over to an Apple Store will also receive Personal Setup service which lets the company configure e-mail and apps for their customers.
Also available today are GarageBand and iMovie apps for iPad, both priced at $5 each.
It will be interesting to see how the massive pre-order push goes with so many outlets to purchase from. Will you be waiting online at 1AM?
